National Conference awards
The SSAT National Conference
Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate excellence and
innovation in affiliated schools.
Prior to the conference all
shortlisted schools will be visited by an SSAT employee. All
winning schools will be publicised on this website and on the
National Conference programme. All awards are listed below.
The deadline for all applications
is 17 September 2008

All applications require:
- A completed application form with full
details of the school
- A written explanation of how schools meet the
criteria (not more than 400 words)
- Shortlisted schools will be notified
by 24 September and school visits will take place between 29
September and 24 October
- Winners will be announced by 29 October

The Chief Executive’s
Award - for the school that has made the most
significant contribution to enhancing opportunities for its Family
of Schools
The Chairman’s Award –
for the school that has made the most significant contribution to
sustainable education
The MMM Award – For the
school demonstrating the most creative and innovative use of
communication within school
The Rolls Royce Award – for
the school demonstrating achievement in engineering and
manufacturing
The SSAT ICT System Redesign
Award – for the school demonstrating the most innovative
use of ICT to support System Redesign
The RM School of Talent Award – for the school
demonstrating a strategic and innovative approach to unlocking the
talent of its students
The Talent and Enterprise Task Force School of Talent
Award - for the school demonstrating the most effective
means of identifying and growing its staff talent pool
