This website has been tailored to four distinct stakeholder
groups that are key audiences within the Trust & Foundation
Schools Programme and are vital to its success; schools, governors,
partners and parents. We have therefore dedicated a section
of the website to each of these audiences, tailoring information
and resources as appropriate.

can always be found on the right-hand side of each web page.
On the left-hand side of each page you will find the following
headings:
FAQs - in this section we have included questions
that are likely to be asked by our stakeholders and our
answers. If we have omitted any FAQs that you think would be
of use to others, please let us know.
Latest news - here you can find out which schools
have recently acquired trust or foundation status along with other
newsworthy items.
Foundation schools - the definition of what a
foundation school is can be found here, along with other useful
information on areas of interest related to this type of
school.
Trust schools - in this section trust schools are
defined and information provided on the benefits of trust status,
the supported schools programme and more.
Resources - supporting documentation, publications
and resources such as toolkits and guides can be downloaded
here.
Case studies - case studies from open trust
schools, those schools pursuing trust status and from partners can
be accessed here.
